RCMP Look Into Death of 25-year-old Woman in Smith area

RCMP is continuing to look into the death of a woman in the Smith area.

25-year-old Chantelle Hole was found inside her rural home at 3:30 in the afternoon on April 29, 2017.

Slave Lake Mounties handed the file to the RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit.

An autopsy was conducted on May 2 at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Edmonton. It was determined at Hole’s death is, in fact, a homicide.

Investigators don’t believe this incident happened at random, and they want to speak with anyone who possibly observed any unusual activity in or around Smith on April 29.
