RCMP officers in Chateh are investigating an incident in Rainbow Lake where a firearm was discharged.
Police received a call just before midnight on Saturday about a 26-year-old male who was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Officers believe two suspects attended a residence in Rainbow Lake and at some point during an interaction with the occupants of the residence a firearm was discharged.
This incident is believed to have been targeted and the RCMP is still continuing their investigation.
