Yup you read the title right, Thanksgiving will be yet another holiday getting a slasher flick much like other holidays have gotten, it’s not just for Halloween anymore folks. The movie is coming during “American” Thanksgiving so still a month away but follows the premise of “After a Black Friday riot ends in tragedy, a mysterious serial killer, known only as “John Carver”, comes to Plymouth, Massachusetts, with the intention of creating a Thanksgiving carving board out of the town’s inhabitants.”
Apparently the idea came from director Eli Roth created the fake movie trailer, Thanksgiving, for the film Grindhouse, plans for a feature-length adaptation began.
The film will star Patrick Dempsey as the town sheriff and will be joined by the likes of Addison Rae, Milo Manheim, Gina Gershon and Rick Hoffman (Lois from Suits). The film is set for a November 17th release date.
This Thanksgiving their will be NO Leftovers
