Another beautiful summer in Northern Alberta is in full… swing. But alas! My golf clubs still sit in the shed collecting dust since my last round on October 3rd out at 5 Star. That was when a local seasoned player taught me what it’s like to know your home course with your eyes closed, and used that advantage to beat me by a stroke.
That hasn’t been the case when it comes to the golf tour. Year after year I’m challenged by wannabes who come up miles short. Not because I’m good… but because they’re just THAT bad. Schu spent most of his time focused on sitting in the cart eating…

I have a feeling that this year is going to be different.
1. I’m waaaaay behind schedule getting my season started. What am I even doing with my life???
2. Rumours are starting to spread that we have a super golfer about to join our crew.
That’s right. How the turntables! (The Office reference)
Supposedly this is the year I could meet my match.
I guess we’ll find out in July!

Seeing the sched definitely has me antsy to get on the course.
I know one thing… whatever happens on the scorecard this year… we’ll definitely make sure to have a good time. Over the years this tour has been filled with a lot of shenanigans, and usually a cart incident or two.
Looking forward to the fun, and can’t wait to start hitting up these amazing courses around our region!
