On January 10, 2022, all acute care beds were reopened in the Fairview Health Complex.
7 of 25 beds were closed on September 21, 2021 due to temporary staff shortages and vacancies in the centre.
Alberta Health Services had anticipated the beds were to be back at 100% capacity on January 16, 2022.
AHS says it is actively recruiting staff to fill needs at the hospital in Fairview.
