The NWJHL playoffs continue as we’re now into the semi-finals.
Four teams remain in the battle for the league championship.
In the North-South Division, the La Crete Lumber Barons will face the Beaverlodge Blades.
The East-West Division, it will be the Dawson Creek Kodiaks against the Fort St. John Huskies.
In the first round (which was a best-of-five), La Crete swept Sexsmith, and FSJ swept Fairview, Dawson Creek needed four games to get past the North Peace Navigators, while Beaverlodge had to go the full five games to finish off Grande Prairie. The Semi-Finals and League championship series will be a best-of-seven.
